Makari Glucharev
Makari Glucharew ( Russian Макарий Глухарёв Makarij Glucharjow actually Russian Михаил Яковлевич Глухарёв Mikhail Yakovlevich Glucharjow * 1792 , † 1847 ) was an Archimandrite of the Russian Orthodox Church and founder of the " Altai mission". He was canonized in 2000 for his role as "Apostle of the Altai".
"He aimed for a common mission for Christians, Muslims and Jews and even wanted to build a temple for the common prayer of these traditional religions."
