Wrongdoer

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Malefactor , also: malefactor , delinquent , out of date: Maleficant (from Latin : "Bad-Tuer"), is a person who has committed a morally , ethically or legally reprehensible act (originally a capital crime in particular ).

In the legal field, the term has been replaced by other expressions, e.g. in criminal law by that of the offender , in administrative offense law by that of the person concerned or in the law of civil law unlawful acts ( tort law ) by that of the perpetrator .

Today the term "offender" is often jokingly trivializing or euphemistically used for someone who is a small transgression (transgression) or a rascal committed tee.
