Painter of the Boston Polyphemus
The painter of the Boston Polyphemus ( Painter of the Boston Polyphemus ) (active 560-550 v. Chr. In Athens ) was a Greek vase painter of the black-figure style. He received his emergency name after the bowl 99.518 in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with the depiction of the Polyphemus adventure. Beazley cautiously ascribed two more bowls to him: Berlin F 1773 and Athens, National Museum Akr. 1639.
