Painter of Altenburg 273
The painter von Altenburg 273 (active in Athens in the middle of the 5th century BC ) was a Greek vase painter of the red-figure style. It received its emergency name after the neck amphora 273 in the Altenburg Lindenau Museum . Stylistically he is close to the so-called Sabouroff painter , in whose immediate vicinity he probably worked.
