Vatican painter 73
The painter of Vatican 73 was a painter around 650 - 625 BC. Active Corinthian vase painter in the transition period from the late Proto-Corinthian to the early Corinthian style. He got his emergency name after the Olpe kept in the Vatican with the inventory number 73. He painted Oinochoen and Olpen with animal friezes. The so-called Sphinx painter depends on his style .
