Malversation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Malversation is a French ( malversation ) or Spanish ( malversación ) term for bad administration, fraud , embezzlement and embezzlement . This word was mainly used in German for economic offenses in the field of public administration and civil servants , but is now considered out of date. Only in Austria is the term sometimes still used in order to only subtly offend the person addressed by using the foreign word - and above all to avoid the explicit accusation of a criminal act.
