Mamadama Bangoura

Mamadama Bangoura (born November 10, 1993 in Guinea ) is a Guinean judoka . She was a participant in the 2016 Olympic Games.

Life

At the Judo World Championships 2013 in Rio de Janeiro , Bangoura took part and competed in the preliminary round against Paule Sitcheping from Cameroon in the weight class of women weighing up to 63 kg , she lost the fight.

Bangoura took part in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro as judoka in the weight class of women weighing up to 63 kg. In the first round she faced Estefania García from Ecuador and was eliminated. She was the flag bearer for Guinea at the Parade of Nations at the opening and closing ceremonies.

She did not return to Guinea after the Summer Olympics because she had disappeared. She left a note saying she wanted to "try her luck" abroad.
