Mane Rokvić

Mane Rokvić (* in Kolunić near Bosanski Petrovac ; † 1944 in Knin ) was the leader of a Serbian Chetnik unit of the Dinaric Chetnik Division during World War II . He is held responsible for war crimes such as the Gata massacre .

In October 1942, Rokvićs Tschetniks murdered around 200 Croatians in massacres in Omiš County .

After Italy surrendered in September 1943 , Đujić was used by the German occupying forces in Yugoslavia to secure the road connections Bosansko Grahovo - Drvar - Bosanski Petrovac - Bihać . The Wehrmacht certified Rokvić and his Tschetniks uninterrupted cooperation and good fighting ability against the communist Tito partisans .
