Manfred Menzel (born June 26, 1935 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
The defender Manfred Menzel played for Arminia Bielefeld since the early 1960s and was Westfalenmeister with the team in 1962. The Bielefeld were promoted to the II. Division West and a year later, on the last match day, they qualified for the newly created Regionalliga West with a 4-1 win against Dortmund's SC 95 . After three years as a regular player, Menzel lost his permanent place in the defense of Arminia during the 1966/67 season and left the club at the end of the season with an unknown goal. Menzel completed 104 regional league games for the Bielefeld team and scored four goals.
