Manfred Sönnecken

Manfred Sönnecken (born April 13, 1928 in Lüdenscheid ; † November 8, 2003 in Lüdenscheid) was a German geographer and local researcher .

Since 1959 he was a member of the Antiquities Commission for Westphalia . From 1982 Sönnecken was responsible for the archaeological preservation of monuments in Lüdenscheid. In 1983 he was the first to receive the LWL work grant, and in 2000 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit.
