Mang (Dehong)
Mang ( Chinese 芒市 , Pinyin Máng Shì ), until 2010 Luxi ( Chinese 潞西 市 , Pinyin Lùxī Shì ), is an independent city in the Dehong Autonomous District of the Dai and Jingpo in the west of the Chinese province of Yunnan . The Longchuan Jiang flows through it. The administrative area of the city has an area of 2,987 km² and has 340,000 inhabitants. Mang is the district capital and seat of the district government of Dehong.
Administrative structure
At the community level, the independent city is made up of five large communities and six communities (one of which is a nationality community of Deang ). These are:
