Mangshi

Mangshi ( Chinese 芒市镇 , Pinyin Mángshì zhèn ) is a large municipality and the capital of the eponymous city of Mang and the Dehong Autonomous District of Dai and Jingpo in the west of the Chinese province of Yunnan . It has an area of 413.6 km² and has a population of 105,000 (2004).

Her attractions include the temples of Southern Buddhism ( Theravada ): the Wuyun Temple (Wuyun si 五云寺 "Five Cloud Temple"), the Bodhi Temple (Puti si 菩提寺) and the Foguang Temple (Foguang si 佛光寺).
