Mangbread

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A mang bread consists of two thirds of rye and one third of wheat flour with the addition of water , sourdough , yeast and salt . It belongs to the category of mixed rye breads . It is baked loaf to loaf, sometimes in special bread boxes. This creates a baked crust, especially on the surface. The baking time at 180–200 ° C is around two hours. In recent years, the type of bread that used to be widespread in the Rhineland has largely been replaced on the market by other, newer types of bread.
