Mani II.

R. Mani II. (Also Mana , abbreviation from Menachem ) was a fifth generation Amora in Palestine and lived and worked in the fourth century AD.

He was the son of Jonah , a student of Joses II, Chizqijjas and Judan and lived and taught mostly in Sepphoris .

His pupil was the haggadist Azariah, his Haupttradent Nachman.

Mani II is mentioned very often in the Palestinian Talmud .
