Remarks
- ↑ Highest of the philosophers , meaning is uncertain, perhaps honorary title of the philosophical faculty of the university in Constantinople
- ↑ The election took place in December 1216 or January 1217, the enthronement in March 1217.
- ↑ Theodor was married to Marie de Courtenay, a sister of Robert, a marriage of Robert to Eudokia, the daughter of Theodor, therefore not possible (incest prohibition).
