María Isabel Salinas García

María Isabel Salinas García (born June 23, 1966 in Níjar ) is an Andalusian politician ( PSOE ).

Salinas García graduated in flamenco , studied law and worked as a dance teacher. She was a member of the Regional Executive Committee of the PSOE Andalusia and the Provincial Executive Committee of the PSOE of Almería . She was also a consultant for women and immigration issues, was a member of the Federal Committee of the PSOE and was Secretary General of the local group of the social democrats in Níjar. Member of the federal executive committee of the PSOE.

Salinas García was a member of the municipal council of Níjar and provincial representative for culture in the regional government of Andalusia. From 1996 to 2000 she was a member of the Spanish Parliament , from 2004 to 2009 she was a member of the European Parliament .
