Maria Kodama
María Kodama (born March 10, 1937 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine author, translator and professor of literature .
Kodama is the daughter of a Japanese architect. She met Jorge Luis Borges in a lecture on Icelandic literature and initially became his secretary. On April 26, 1986, she married Borges. She helped him Breve antología anglosajona (1978) and Atlas to write (1984) and the Snorra- Edda of Snorri Sturluson translate. Today she is the President of the Fundación Internacional Jorge Luis Borges and heir to his estate.
