María del Carmen Cárdenas
María del Carmen Cárdenas (born February 13, 1959 ) is a former Mexican marathon runner .
In 1983 she won the premiere of the Mexico City Marathon . The following year she won the Cleveland Marathon with her personal best of 2:41:13 h and came 40th at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles .
In 1986 she won again in Mexico City, and in 1987 she won the Pan American Games in Indianapolis . The following year she won the Sunburst Marathon and came third in the San Diego Marathon.
