Rab Mar Mar ben Rab Huna († 614 [ד'שע"ד, Jewish Calendar] or 620 [ד'ש"פ, Jewish Calendar]) was from 609 to Iggeret Rav Sherira Gaon, the first Gaon in Pumbedita and the head of the Academy in Sura in Babylon at the end of the reign of the Sassanid Empire .
