Marcello Avallone
Marcello Avallone (born August 26, 1938 in Rome ) is an Italian film director .
Life
Avallone, who has a single acting appearance, began working as an assistant director in the 1960s . In 1968 he made his first own film (a pseudo-documentary); after that he mainly worked for television magazines , but kept returning to feature films. Even as music videos , advertising and industrial films bear his signature. Among his television works, documentaries on horror films and American cinema stand out.
