March (unit)

March was an Austrian measure of volume and was mainly used in the salt pans .

  • March 1 = 4715.83 liters
  • March 24 = 1 room = 4 pans = 2000 buckets (about 56.6 liters) = 113,180 liters

Note: There was also a room in Styria with only 1,800 buckets or 115,452 liters.
