Marco Schank

Marco Schank (born October 10, 1954 ) is a Luxembourg politician and writer. He is married to Edmée Bisdorff and has three children. His hobbies include crime novel writing, reading, and gardening.

From 1994 to 2009 Marco Schank was mayor of the municipality of Heiderscheid (today part of the municipality of Esch-Sauer ). From 1999 to 2009, the CSV politician sat for the north constituency as a member of the Luxembourg Parliament , the Chamber. From July 2009 to December 2013 he was Minister for Housing and also Minister Delegate for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure. After the change of government in December 2013, he is again a member of the Chambre des Deputés.
