Marco Tronchetti Provera

Marco Tronchetti Provera (born January 18, 1948 in Milan ) is an Italian businessman and entrepreneur.

Provera studied at the Luigi Bocconi University of Economics in Milan. In 1978 he married Cecilia Pirelli (the daughter of Leopoldo Pirelli ). In 1992 he became the head of Pirelli and he succeeded in restructuring the group, which was in debt with over a billion marks, as a manager and financier without losing market or power.
