Marcu Biancarelli

Marcu Biancarelli (* 1968 ) is a Corsican language writer and co-founded the magazine A Pian 'd'Avretu in 1991 .

He published his first anthology of poems, Viaghju in Vivaldia , in 1999. In addition to his narrative work, he was also active as a playwright , song poet and radio play author . Several of his publications have been translated into French by Jérôme Ferrari .

In 2001 and 2002 he received the Corsican literary prize Premiu di a Litteratura Isulana di Ouessant . In 2007 he wrote his third collection of short stories, Stremu Miridianu , which won a readers' award.
