Marcus Insteius Coelenus (full name form Marcus Insteius Marci filius Palatina Coelenus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma dated June 30, 107 shows that Coelenus 107 was the commander of the Ala I Hispanorum Auriana , which was stationed in the province of Raetia at the time. He was enrolled in the tribe of Palatina .
