Marcus Plautius Lycon (born Lykon, ancient Greek Λύκων ) was a Greek painter who worked in the 3rd or 2nd century BC. Was active in the Roman Ardea .

According to Pliny, there was an inscription in the temple of Juno Regina in Ardea praising him as the maker of the paintings there. Because of its name, it is believed that Lykon performed the paintings as a Greek and was adopted by a member of the Plautier as a thank you for the work . He then received the Roman name Marcus Plautius Lycon and Roman citizenship .
