Marcus Pontius Sabinus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Marcus Pontius Sabinus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

The Fasti Ostienses shows that Sabinus was a suffect consul in 153 . The name of his colleague is incomplete in the Fasti Ostienses; possibly the name of the second consul was Sextus Caecilius Maximus or Gaius Iulius Maximus . The two took office on April 1 of that year.

Marcus Pontius Laelianus Larcius Sabinus was possibly the brother of Sabinus.
