Marcus Robatsch (born November 12, 1971 ) is a fencer from Austria . As the first Austrian after Roland Losert, who won the title in 1971, he won a sword world cup tournament in Europe in Innsbruck in 2002 . This was preceded by a change of coach in 2001 and the creation of a professional environment. As a result, Robatsch achieved an enormous increase in performance in a short time, which led to a jump from 232 to 12th in the world rankings.

In the meantime, Marcus Robatsch withdrew from competitive sports.
