Marcus of Galilee

Marcus of Galilee was a Christian martyr and saint . According to legend, he was sent as a missionary from Galilee to Italy in the 1st century , where he is said to have become bishop of the Martians in Abruzzo . He is said to have been martyred under Emperor Domitian . He is venerated as a saint; his feast day is April 28th .
