Margaret Jones
Margaret Jones († June 15, 1648 ) was a midwife who was the first victim of the witch hunt from 1648 to 1663 in the Massachusetts Bay Colony to be executed for witchcraft .
Margaret Jones was married to Thomas Jones. He was also suspected of witchcraft, but not persecuted.
