Marguerite Gaudin

Marguerite Gaudin (* 1909 ; † September 29, 1991 in Chestnut Hill) was an American glass painter .

Life

Marguerite Gaudin worked for the Willet Stained Glass and Decorating Company for nearly 60 years , where she started in 1931 after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Art . During these years she created stained glass windows for over 1000 churches and secular buildings in all states of the USA and in five other countries. From the 1940s she was Willett's lead designer, where she became director and vice president.
