Visitation of the Virgin Mary

The Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is a Roman Catholic chapel in the Hirschbergsau district of the municipality of Langen near Bregenz .

On the site of an older chapel, the chapel was erected in 1893 as a rectangular building with a choir under a gable roof with a bell tower with a pointed helmet over the choir. The prayer room has arched windows and a flat ceiling. In the choir there are frescoes Mary with Child, God the Father, Holy Spirit, St. Anna and Johannes and a painting of St. Cecilia on the gallery parapet by the painter Franz Lins from 1950. There are stained glass in the choir depicting the Heart of Jesus and St. Joseph by L. Schnitzler from the Dornbirn stained glass. The neo-Romanesque altar with the figures of Immaculate , St. Theresa and St. Anthony is from 1893.

A bell from 1619 was cast by Johann Baptist Ernst .
