Marien-Ritter is a fairy tale . It is in Ludwig Bechstein's New German Book of Fairy Tales at position 20 and comes from Friedrich Heinrich von der Hagens Complete Adventure , Vol. 3, No. 74.

A knight serves St. Mary . Once when he was riding to a tournament, he stopped at a St. Mary's Church and forgets the time before the service. The tournament is almost over by then, but everyone adores him as the winner. Then he suspects Mary's miracle and goes to the monastery.
