The Marian column in Kirchdorf an der Amper ( Upper Bavaria ) is the village's war memorial . It was built in 1911 in front of the parish church of St. Martin . The column commemorates those six men from the parish of Kirchdorf who died in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71.

A stone, gold-crowned Patrona Bavariae stands on a bulbous stone column about two meters high . She holds the baby Jesus in her left arm and a golden scepter in her right . The Bavarian state coat of arms in the version from 1835 is embedded at the foot of the column .

The column rests on a high stone base. An intercession addressed to St. Mary is carved on its front :
