Marina Gioti

Marina Gioti ( Greek Μαρίνα Γιώτη , * 1972 in Athens ) is a Greek video artist .

life and work

Marina Gioti studied chemical engineering , environmental management ( Master of Science ), film , media and communication studies ( Master of Fine Arts) in Greece, Great Britain and Belgium. In 2017 she was a resident scholar at the Akademie Schloss Solitude .

The invisible hands (2017) is a film documentary that Gioti produced together with Georges Salameh. The film is about the American musician Alan Bishop , who traveled to Cairo after the revolution in Egypt in 2011 to work with local musicians.
