Marina Yannakoudakis (* 16th April 1956 in Paddington , London ) is a British politician of the Conservative Party .

Life

Yannakoudakis studied history and political science at Brunel University . She studied education at the Open University . Yannakoudakis has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .

As an EU parliamentarian, she is in the European Conservatives and Reformists Group.She is a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety , the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality and the delegation to the EU-Former Yugoslavian Joint Parliamentary Committee Republic of Macedonia. She is a deputy in the special committee against organized crime, corruption and money laundering and in the delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.

She is married to Zacharias Yannakoudakis, has three children and lives with her family in Barnet .
