Mario Russo (director)

Mario Russo (born March 22, 1926 in Vieste ) is an Italian film director.

Russo began in 1950 as an assistant director for Italian films and from 1957 was responsible for several Italian versions of Hollywood films, some of which were shot in Rome. In 1964 he put a documentary, two years later the crime comedy Always Trouble with the Lümmeln , in which the Englishman Terry-Thomas played the leading role. His involvement in the industry ended with the overall management of Realtà romanzesca , which was shot in 1967 .
