Marion Johanning (* 1962 in Lippstadt ) is a German writer.

Life

Marion Johanning grew up in several places in North Rhine-Westphalia, later studied in Mannheim and worked in the public service, where she carried out various activities. She first wrote poems and short stories that were published in yearbooks, magazines and anthologies from 2000 onwards. Today she mostly writes historical novels.

In 2015 Johanning published her first novel Aelia, the fighter . Her two medieval novels The Honey Hands (2016) and The Foreign Rider (2018), both of which were published by Amazon Publishing, became bestsellers. Her fourth historical novel The Hidden Sisters was published by Amazon Publishing in December 2018 .

Johanning now lives as a freelance writer with her family near Cologne . Since 2016 she has been a member of the Homer group, an association of authors from all historical genres.
