Marius Prünte (born February 5, 1990 in Hamm ) is a German cyclist . He won two gold medals in the time trial and in the mountain bike discipline at the World Firefighter Games in South Korea in 2018. As early as 2016 he was German fire brigade master in the time trial in Göttingen.

In 2007 and 2008 Marius Prünte drove in the junior Bundesliga selection of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and in 2008 in the German national team. From 2009 to 2011 he started for the respective U23 Bundesliga teams for NRW and in 2012 for the Bike Aid team. In total, Marius Prünte has twelve victories and more than 150 placings among the top 15 places in his career as a cyclist.

Marius Prünte plans to set the world speed record for cyclists in 2021, which was set by Denise Mueller-Korenek in 2018 at 296.009 km / h.
