Mark Griffith
Mark Griffith is a British classical scholar .
Life
He earned a BA in 1968 from Cambridge University and a Ph.D. 1973 in Cambridge . From 1968 to 1969 taught Latin and Greek at Mill Hill School. From 1972 to 1973 he was a Junior Research Fellow at Peterhouse . Since 2007 he has held the Klio Distinguished Professor of Classical Languages and Literature at the University of California, Berkeley .
His research interests are Greek literature, drama, music, and performance.
