Mark Smith (Egyptologist)
Mark Joseph Smith (* 1951 ) is a British Egyptologist .
Life
He is Professor of Egyptology at Oxford University and Lady Wallis Budge Fellow in Egyptology at University College (Oxford) . His research interests are Egyptian religion and Egyptian language and texts, especially demotic.
