Mark X (tank)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Mark X , originally Mark V *** was existing only on paper projects a British tank of the First World War and was an improved version of the Mark V represent.

The construction of the vehicles was only planned in the event that the project of the Mark VIII  - a construction lot of 2,000 units of this model had already been planned for 1919 - should prove to be unworkable. The Mark X was to be produced with as many parts of the Mark V as possible, with the aim of improving maneuverability and driving comfort for the crew.
