Market exhaustion

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The percentage of market utilization indicates the degree to which the potential consumers of a product consume it.

The highest possible value is 100%. If a product with a market exhaustion of 50% is placed in the market by two manufacturers in equal parts, each of these two producers has a market exhaustion of 25%, but a market share of 50% each. The terms market exhaustion and market share are often confused - although the two values can differ significantly from each other.
