The under monument protection standing market fountain stands in the marketplace of Baden-Württemberg town of Ludwigsburg .

history

The monument depicts the founder of the city of Ludwigsburg, Duke Eberhard Ludwig (1676 to 1733). He holds up the marshal's baton that identifies him as marshal of the empire .

The memorial statue was created in 1723 by the sculptor Carlo Feretti . The fountain trough on which it stands was made by the iron caster Christian Neubert.
