Markus Nickel

Markus Nickel (* 1966 ) is a German church musician .

Life

Markus Nickel, son of a church musician, passed the D and C exams while still at school. After graduating from high school , he studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Protestant Church Music in Bayreuth (B-exam) and after a one-year internship in Weißenburg at the Musikhochschule Würzburg (A-exam).

Since 1993 he has worked as a cantor in Nuremberg , for many years at the Gustav-Adolf-Gedächtniskirche , currently at the Mögeldorfer St. Nikolaus and St. Ulrich Church and as the Dean's Cantor in the Vice Deans Nuremberg East and Nuremberg South.
