Markus Walther (* 1972 in Cologne ) is a German writer and calligrapher .

Life

Markus Walther was born in 1972 and grew up in Cologne. After finishing school, he trained as an advertising technician . In 1998 he started his own business as a calligrapher. He has lived in Rösrath with his family since 2006 .

Markus Walther has published around three hundred cross-genre short and shortest stories, three fantastic novels and a crime comedy .

Awards

In June 2018 Markus Walther reached third place in the genre prose at the first Kölsch literary competition organized by the Rösrather Kulturverein eV and the Dr. Jürgen Rembold Foundation.
