Martín Amuz , full name Martín Federico Amuz Balari , (born April 21, 1997 in Toronto , Canada ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.87 meter tall defensive player Amuz has been a member of the youth department of Danubio FC since 2010 . There he made his debut for the professional team in the Primera División on March 6, 2016 , when he was ordered into the starting line-up by coach Luis González on the 5th matchday of Clausura in the 2-0 home defeat against Centro Atlético Fénix . Overall, he only played this one first division game (no goal) in the 2015/16 season. During the 2016 season he was not used in the league.

National team

In 2015, Amuz made seven appearances for the Uruguayan U-18 national team . He scored a goal. In 2016 he was one of the pre-selection of the Uruguayan U-20 national team .
