Martin Irle Prize

The Martin Irle Prize is awarded by the German Society for Psychology for outstanding achievements in the field of psychology in memory of Martin Irle .

This honors psychological scientists who, as mentors, have particularly enabled and motivated students, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral candidates to embark on a scientific career in psychology. The prize was donated by the social psychologist Fritz Strack from Würzburg and is endowed with prize money of 1,000 euros. The Martin Irle Prize was awarded for the first time on the occasion of the 50th congress of the German Society for Psychology in Leipzig in 2016.
