Haunersdorf is a part of the municipality of Otzing in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

location

Haunersdorf is located in the Gäuboden about two kilometers southwest of Otzing on the Reißinger Bach.

history

Haunersdorf is a distinct old settlement area. Thirty Bronze Age barrows date from the second century BC, as well as a sacred Celtic grove. The area was also inhabited in Roman times, with Haunersdorf being the focus of the large camp site.

The place Haevnreichstorf of the district court Deggendorf is recorded in the second duke's surbar before 1300 . After the Natternberg Nursing Court split off , it belonged to its Otzing office and formed a chairman. In 1752 the place consisted of ten properties.

In the course of the reorganization of the regional courts, Haunersdorf was supposed to come to the Landau regional court , but a resolution of December 4, 1803 determined that Haunersdorf , which was connected with Otzing , should remain with the Deggendorf regional court as well as this . When the tax districts were formed, Haunersorf came to the Otzing tax district and together with the village of Arndorf formed the II. Haunersdorf Section. From this, the rural community Haunersdorf was formed in 1818/1821, consisting of two villages and 21 families. In 1867, along with Haunersdorf and Arndorf, the Haunersdorfermühle was first recorded as a separate part of the municipality.

With effect from January 1, 1946, the Haunersdorf community was dissolved by the American military government and incorporated into the Otzing community , but restored in 1948. Only in the course of the regional reform did the municipality of Haunersdorf finally become part of the municipality of Otzing on May 1, 1978. In 1987 the place Haunersdorf consisted of 62 inhabitants.
