Otzing is a municipality in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf and a member of the Oberpöring administrative community .

geography

Otzing is located in the Danube Forest planning region . The community borders the Isar in the south (landscape protection area) and extends slightly to the right bank areas. It also contains a section of the Längenmühlbach .

In addition to the districts Otzing, Haunersdorf and Lailling still made districts Arndorf , Asenhof, Eisenstorf, small Weichs and riding (also Reith).

history

Until the church is planted

Otzing belonged to the Straubing Rent Office and the Natternberg Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .

Incorporations

On May 1, 1978, the previously independent communities Haunersdorf and Lailling were incorporated, which had been newly formed on January 1, 1902 from parts of the community Wallersdorf .
